After the strange occurrence in the bar that night I rededicated my life back to God and asked His son Jesus Christ, to come into my heart and to cleanse me of all of my sins and to teach me and to lead me and to guide me throughout all the days of my life. I was rebaptized in the name of Jesus Christ. I developed a tremendous thirst to know everything I could about God and the Bible, His Holy Word, and His son Jesus the Christ. I studied the Bible and took numerous Bible courses and classes, including the course work at Liberty College. God allowed me to glimpse the tremendous depth of His love for all of mankind. It was a humbling experience. During this time a number of questions arose that needed answers. I went to a number of knowledgeable sources to try to obtain the answers that I needed, but was met with huge disappointments time and again. Sometimes the search led into false Doctrines and it was only by the power of God that I was pulled back from the deceptions. Finally, I made up my mind that I would only listen to God and do what He said to do. The Bible says that you have no need of any man to teach you God's Word. All that you need is the Bible and the Holy Ghost, Who is the Comforter and Teacher. He will lead you and guide you and teach you all that is written in the Bible. Do not forsake the gathering of yourselves together in the House of God though, because God has given us Shepherds to watch over us and to preach the Gospel of the Word of God. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Just be careful and exercise Spiritual Discernment as satan walks to and fro through the earth seeking whom he will devour. And without careful diligence it is easy to fall into the snares and traps laid for those who walk carelessly.
You also must be careful what you ask God for and how you ask it. God said to be specific when you pray and ask for something, and sometimes, you must keep asking until you receive what you asked for. He is serious, for God does not do things in a small way. So, if you ask for Him to teach you His Word, He will do it. All at one time. If you ask for Knowledge, He will give it to you. All at one time. If you ask for Wisdom, again, He will give it to you. All at one time. I have experienced this myself in my ignorance and I can tell you that it can be extremely overwhelming,. It is also totally awesome and something that I will never regret having done. I would be asleep and the whole Bible would be scrolling through my mind. Numerous times I have awakened with my hands clasped in the air over my head and there would be a chorus of singing and praising and worshipping the Lord going through my mind, with such a feeling that I cannot describe it other than to say that my spirit was in communion with God. It is a sensation or feeling that you cannot even begin to imagine and once having experienced it you will never be the same.
I also asked God for Dreams and Visions. He gave them to me.
I had been thinking
about the Rapture, or the time when God would remove His Church from the earth. The
word Rapture is not adding anything to the Word of God, as some would have you believe,
since the Bible was not rewritten and the word Rapture was not inserted into it.
It is simply the best word or description that could be found to more accurately
describe or explain the glorious event that is to occur. And, I asked God when that
would be. God has a sense of humor. He answered me, but, not in the way I expected.
He gave me a dream of an Olive tree. The Olive tree was full of fruit except for
one small
area that had no fruit. That's all that the dream consisted
of, was the Olive tree. The meaning is, that when the Olive tree is full of fruit
and there are no more empty spots, then that will be the time when God will remove
His Church from the earth. The fruit represents all of the souls of all of the members
of the Church both the living and the dead who will be raised up and changed, [given
immortal bodies], at the time of the Rapture, or the time when God will remove
His Church from off the earth.
One of the main reasons why I believe in the Rapture
of the Church is because the Jews, [Israel], were blinded to the truth of
Jesus Christ so that God could bring the Gentiles, [Church], to salvation
through His son, Jesus Christ. A great many Saints will come out of the Tribulation
Period, [most, if not all, will be martyred], but the Church will have long
been gone. The Tribulation Period is the time, [the 7 years comes from
Daniel, Chapter 9, verses 23 thru 27], when God will plead with all flesh remaining
upon the earth with the Sword and with Fire, to repent and turn from
their ways and turn toward His son, Jesus Christ, and accept Him as their Lord
and Saviour. [There remains one week of sevens out of the seventy weeks of
sevens that has yet to be fulfilled, {determined}, upon the people of Daniel, {Israel},
and upon the holy city, {Jerusalem}]. The Church does not have to be pleaded with
to repent of their sins and to accept Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as their Lord
and Saviour since they already have.
And all of Israel shall be saved. When
Jesus steps down upon the Mount, their hearts will be turned and they shall know
the Lord. [As it is written, there shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall
turn away all ungodliness from Jacob. For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall
take away their sins].
Before I had this dream, I cannot remember ever having
seen an Olive tree or knowing what one looked like.
Aug. 27, 2001. I woke this morning having Church with God, with my hands clasped in the air over my head. Teaching and singing and praying and worshipping God. Me, my spirit and God. There had to be others, because I wasn't doing the singing.
Dec. 30, 2001. I was given another dream. I was in the middle of a minefield full of pitfalls, traps, and obstacles that you had to get over or under or around. Then I awoke. My thoughts upon awakening were that it seems like I have gone through a minefield this last few years. Temptations such as I have never experienced before. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and try to build a closer relationship, the enemy will come in great fury to stop it from happening. You can't stop him, in and of yourself. But, God can. Satan will flee from the very mention of Jesus's name. Somehow after each experience with the minefield I seem to feel Spiritually stronger though I am physically much weaker. [I was badly injured on an Oil Rig many years ago which basically destroyed my back]. I have had several episodes of physical pain so bad that I began to doubt whether I could withstand much more. But, through it all I hold fast to my God and my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. And I will not let go, regardless of the consequences or the outcome.
